Author bio:
At five years old, Tess was walking down a gravel path and saw that one of the rocks had been kicked away into the grass, all alone. She was instantly upset, cradled the poor rock in her hands and returned it to it’s family of fellow rocks. She told me a story then, of how the rock had come to be all alone, complete with romance, intrigue, and betrayal. She was never without a book. And had read the complete Lord of the Rings Trilogy four times before the age of thirteen. It is with this kind of imagination, passion, and love for stories, that Tess now writes her young adult fantasy novels. She began writing her first novel, Ember, at age sixteen and hasn’t stopped since. She is currently working on her seventh book, having just finished the “Fallen Trilogy” She lives in Burlington, North Carolina. Loves to eat Cinnamon rolls, and drive her electric blue Kawasaki Ninja.

Author bio:
Hi, I'm Nobo13, a writer, artist and publisher rolled into one. The pen name Nobo13 comes from my surname. It reads like the Japanese for climb 'noboru' but it has an extra bit that resembles the number 13- hence we have Nobo13. Additional the part that is 'noboru' is read as 'to publish' in Chinese, so it made sense for me to use it as a self-published author. Other than writing or doodling away, I've found myself strumming away at ukuleles- I highly recommend getting an uke. It's something that brings a smile to a face quite easily, and is itself very pleasing. Please check out my website, it has a lot of features and fun.

Author bio:
Born in England in 1951, Tom Fisher migrated to Australia during the 1970s as an aspiring young school teacher. Initially attracted by the legendary toughness and independence of the Australian bushman he soon started to notice perplexing anomalies, and began taking copious notes. Eventually retiring from teaching he returned to university to complete a specialist degree in literature, and is now a full time writer, editor and proofreader. Something like that. Tom’s a sort of old bloke and doesn’t do the techie stuff, Gil does (Thanks, mate!), but it’s his idea. Alex pops his head in now and then to find out what we’re up to, and if we stuff things up Michael comes in and rips our bloody ears off. His limited vocabulary is unprintable – a lot like a huge Aunty Jack without the moustache – so you’ll just have to imagine the guy. But it runs good, smooth and clean as a whistle. We are graduates in Literature, Film and Media, Social Sciences, and Computer Science. We are skilled, Open Source sorts of enthusiastics. We operate as a collective and share the profits.
Rachel's Manifesto by Rhonda Herrington Bulmer Rachel's Manifesto by Rhonda Herrington Bulmer Feb. 07, 2012 $4.99 55848 words Sample 20%
Author bio:
As a child, Rhonda Herrington Bulmer was a voracious reader, a lover of fantasy, fairy tales and happy endings. She began her first novel at age 15, a romantic sleuth story which was loved by the author but rejected by publishers. Despite encouragement from editors to persevere, her desire to write languished in a drawer, along with that first manuscript. Born and raised in New Brunswick, Canada, Rhonda graduated from Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology in Oshawa, Ontario with a diploma in public relations in 1987. Upon graduation, Rhonda practiced public relations in the Maritimes, and also worked in graphic design. Later, she offered freelance services at home while raising her three children. Later still, study with the Institute for Children's Literature helped revive her adolescent writing dream. Currently, she provides copywriting services to local businesses and submits general interest articles and columns. She is a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (www.monctonwriters.ca). Rhonda lives in Moncton, New Brunswick with her husband and three children, where she can recite her favorite book, "Where the Wild Things Are," by Maurice Sendak, from memory. "Rachel's Manifesto" is her first novel.

Author bio:
Anyone who says this mother-daughter team doesn’t mesh has only seen them trying to put out the fire from the stupid wires behind the television that should’ve been more clearly labeled in the first place. Alyssa, the A in A&E, has gone from mucking out horse stalls and taping her eyes open during college lectures, to writing novels. When she’s not writing, reading, or running down the halls flapping her coat while singing the Batman theme song, she’s either dancing or immersed in anime. Eileen has much more class. Even a degree. Fancy. Mother of three lovably peculiar children—all of which like to point out how short she is. But really, she isn’t. They’re just freaking giants. Happily married, she enjoys escaping like a bat out of hell—uh, *cough, cough* we meant she enjoys horseback riding at a leisurely speed around the mountains surrounding their California home. Demons at Deadnight is their debut novel, and currently they’re eating bon-bons and watching TV—oh, scratch that—they’re currently diligently at work on the next epic Divinicus Nex adventure. (Come on! Who’s supposed to proofread this stuff? Heads are gonna roll, people. Seriously. Heads are gonna roll!)

I believe I was fortunate to have been born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, a wonderful city with deep artistic and cultural roots, all of which I fully absorbed. Of course the pleasant, positive aspects of Edinburgh are equally well balanced by the darker, sinister side, past and present, of which I both enjoyed, and endured, my quota. I have worked and lived across the world for over twenty eight years, and am now, tapping into the subterranean recesses inside my cranium to bring to the surface my experiences and observations, god, bad and ugly. I love writing; it stretches me to reflect, to delve deeper, and perhaps, hopefully to even darker places. TMK
